Made by FED factory in Russia.
Early FED (for Felix E. Dzerzhinsky,
founder of Checka which ultimately
became the infamous KGB)
photo cameras are most sought
after cameras.
These, circa '30s-early '50s, were
produced using tooling
and drawings taken out of Berlin
after Second World War.
Six shutter speeds (to 1/500 second)
and six apertures (f/3.5 to f/18).
Black casing, with black/gold has an
inscription "ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR"
engraved on it with serial number 258001.
Gold colored lens is marked
"Leitz Elmar" and is 1:35 F=50mm.
Size 6"x3"x3.5".
